With Diversified Technology, Inc.’s (DTI) strong heritage (over 35 years) in passive backplane embedded computer technology, as well as the demands placed on this country by the Global-War-On-Terrorism, it was only natural that the company begin to focus resources on finding solutions to known problems faced by the military and other Federal agencies.

Three of the major problems faced by the war-fighter today are rapid access to AC power on the battlefield (or during natural disasters), improved RF communications and an effective means of detecting, identifying and destroying Improvised Explosive Devices from a safe distance.

In this regard, DTI’s Federal Programs Solutions Group worked closely with the US Navy (SPAWAR), US Army (Space & Missile Defense Command), and Department of Homeland Defense (DHD) to develop and deploy an On-Board Vehicle Power (OBVP) system, a Simultaneous Field Radiation Technology communication system and an Integrated Detection Disposal and Classification System (ID2CS). All of which represent Game-Changing Technologies that give our war-fighter force multipliers in the Global War On Terrorism.
